Hi Alan I am just writing to thank you for the 48v 500w e bike kit you supplied.
A perfect consumer experience from the outset, informative advice on which kit to buy, speedy delivery with tracking and a well packaged kit with instructions
The hub is very powerful. It powers up hills and into the wind
Easy to fit onto my 18" kona cinda cone with some slight modifications
I'm using the thumb throttle which works well ,restricted by connecting the two grey connectors out of the controller which keeps me under 15mph or if I disconnect it I can get up to 28 mph without peddling
Just like to say thanks again and whoooooooossshhh :) :) :)

My new Conversion kit
Sunday, 28 July 2013
Just fitted my new electric conversion kit to my mountain bike...wow,wow,wow....I love it, bought it 2 weeks ago from electricvehicles4you.org.
1000W motor with a 48V 20Ah rear battery I paid the extra and got the Lifpo4, it was well worth it, took it for a spin yesterday (Saturday) and had the thing up to 36Mph, I rode for over 50km and still had enough power to get me up the mile long hill home.
I cannot praise it enough, and the service from Alan at electricvehicles4you was second to none, it took 2 weeks to arrive which I thought was good considering they make them from scratch and then test them before shipping.
Just a word of advice, do not just buy from his ebay shop because they are cheaper on his web site, plus he does a great job giving his donations to his charity, "Crohns Research." so buying from the web site he is able to give more.
Highly recommended, I have now a scooter and e-kit from this guy I am now looking at the "Airwheel" thingy but I am not sure if I have the bottle/nerve to try it....I will keep you informed.

The unit is sturdy and very well made, but learning to ride is more of a challenge than the marketing videos would have you believe. For example, you probably won't be riding it to work or school on crowded streets or sidewalks, as doing so would pose a significant danger to yourself and others unless you've become a seasoned expert. Also, riding on anything except PERFECTLY SMOOTH surfaces is a challenge until you become very proficient. The first time you leave a smooth surface, you'll immediately feel a loss of control. Riding can be great fun, but be prepared for some spills when learning, so definitely wear a bicycle helmet and protective gear on your elbows, knees, wrists, and hands. To minimize property damage and injury to yourself and others, learn to ride (with the training wheels attached) in a wide-open, perfectly smooth area. If possible, have a friend hold on to your waist from behind to help steady you. Take special note that the Airwheel is a real "ATTENTION GETTER" in any public place, so take that into consideration when choosing your learning area, as the last thing you're going to want or need is an audience!
The seller is excellent. The shipping was very fast considering it had to come all the way from China, and the unit arrived in about a week. Just after I placed my order I had an electrical question about charging the device here in the states and emailed the seller. They responded within 5 minutes telling me charging would be no problem.
